Denise L. Devine, CPA, MBA, MST
Ms. Devine was elected to the AUS Board of Directors in 2016.
Ms. Devine is Founder and CEO of FNB Holdings, LLC which markets Froose® better-for you snacks for children. She is also co-founder, CAO and CFO of RTM Vital Signs, LLC, a medical device company in the cardiac space with big data applications, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nutripharm, Inc., where she led the development of a technology platform that generated a portfolio of composition and process patents to create innovative natural food, beverage, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products. Her experience spans entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations, international consulting firms, manufacturing operations and software companies. She has over 25 years of leadership experience in general management, operations and finance with particular expertise in technology platform development, intellectual property and IP strategy, acquisitions, licensing, joint ventures and other strategic alliances.
Ms. Devine’s prior business experience includes CFO of Energy Solutions International, a global software company serving the oil and gas industry, executive positions at Campbell Soup Company where she was responsible for executing investment strategy, structuring and negotiating capital markets transactions, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, and Arthur Andersen & Co., where she served as a member of the firm’s national closely-held business team.
Ms. Devine also serves in a leadership role on the following Boards: Fulton Financial Corporation (Chair, Human Resources Committee), Lourdes Health System (Vice-Chair, Strategic Planning Committee), American Red Cross-SEPA (Chair, Spectrum Committee), and The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (Treasurer). She recently completed her ten-year tenure in 2015 on the Villanova University Board of Trustees where she served as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. She is Chair of The Advisory Board of the MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and Nutrition Education at Villanova University Nursing School, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Marketing and Consumer Insight at Villanova School of Business.
Ms. Devine, a co-inventor on nineteen U.S. and international patents, has served as an “Entrepreneur in Residence” at The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and has received numerous Honors and Awards including the “Best 50 Business Women in Pennsylvania” Governor’s Award. She served on the American Institute of CPAs Board of Directors, President of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and was appointed by the Governor of Pennsylvania to serve on The State Board of Accountancy, where she served as Chair for several years.
Ms. Devine is a CPA, received her M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Taxation from Villanova University and a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University.
